I don't blame him for being disappointed in our limited fan support, but that's the reality of coming from a larger public university to a small private

he needs to be part of the solution and become more of a marketing guy himself. I would have thought about thanking the fans who made the trip and doing it in that TV interview. Could have mentioned that we are trying to rekindle interest in SMU football and this game and Big East invite are further steps in the process. I appreciate what he's done, but a little more rah rah would be nice

I know it's not his nature, but it's going to take a major effort if SMU is even going to achieve what TCU has in recent years

Again...KUDOS to those who represented SMU today

and let's all keep J. Williams in our thoughts

Hmmm...that deserves a dedicated thread. I actually say this win is bigger because it helps set the tone for SMU's future entry into the BE. We want BE team (esp NEW BE team) beating the leaving teams as much as possible. This. Win. Was. Big.
