Kingsbury was probably not going anywhere. 8-10 million to fire him and hire new HC. Tech is not confident they can raise that much money especially when majority of athletic boosters are in the oil and gas industry

I actually heard a report Coach Bro’s buyout is $17,000,000. No confirmation but whatever it is, it is one of if not the highest in the nation.

My numbers come from a couple of Tech athletic supporters. They really want Briles to be there next coach. I️ told them no way in hell that happens.

I was listening to a sports news report that had researched the top buyouts of coaches on the hot seat by analyzing the contracts. Coach Bro was number one. Of course people all thought Coach Bielema had a $15 million buyout until someone actually crunched some numbers so I do not know who to believe anymore.

Did anyone else catch the end of the UConn/uc game? And I thought ours was strange. I would make that receiver for UConn walk back to Storrs.

uc got called for pass interference in the end zone on the last play so UConn got a free play. Hit a nice pass for a td to cut it to 22-21 but the receiver was called for unsportsmanlike conduce penalty which pushed the extra point back 15 yards. UConn had planned to go for 2 but changed to a kick and it went wide left. Pretty brutal ending.
