Man, I hope you're right. I talked to someone who saw him at the SMU camp over the summer, and he said Beasley was a freak of nature with his quickness and explosive athletic ability.

I am telling you he can play. I say we play Beasley and Rhodes at the inside receivers, with Sander and Givens on the outside. This gives Beasley and Rhodes some opportunites to run the ball and throw it (both HS QB's).

What say we wait and see what kind of offense the new coach runs?
Might not have a 4-WR set in the playbook if we keep wasting time with these option coaches.

PJ is out and he was the only option HC in the nation.

DMN said we asked Air Force for permission to talk to Troy Calhoun. Option coach.

Some think Fran is a candidate. Runs a lot of option (but not entirely).

Turner Gill played in one of the great option offenses of all time, and employs a good deal of option in his offense at Buffalo.

Frank Solich installed an option offense at Ohio.

Tommy Bowden runs some option at Clemson.

There likely are more. Either way, PJ is not the only one.

Well for anyone who has doubted this guys athletic ability, stats, size etc. Let me just set some things straight for everyone. For his speed- He ran the fastest 40 at the Oklahoma State Camp he went with a 4.41 and at the TCU camp with 4.45. Quickness- If you've seen him play at all then you know how quick he is but he ran a 3.92 shuttle at the Kennadale combine and a 4.00 at the sparq combine . Jumping- His vert at the SMU camp was 42 in. using the sticks, at the combine it was 39.5 using the timing pad. Regardless, i've seen him dunk a basketball off both feet effortlessly, and standing a little taller than 5'9 thats very impressive to me. By my opinion he gets over looked by some of the bigger football colleges because of his size but he will be able to make big plays at the D1 level. He's a G

" He's a G "

No such thing as too many G's on a roster. Round up his podnas and start scoring touchdowns

The guy has uncanny moves and can stop on a dime. He could be a slot guy and once he catches the ball watch out.

I think he would be a good fit for the JJ system
