There are various things one can do to get a strike for example: not complete study hall hours, more than 5 minutes late for practice or workout, not attending class etc. I believe that it was for every strike, you get the opportunity to be at the stadium to run at 7am on Saturday, how fun is that! If you don't show up, you get another strike...something like that, I will clarify again/later if I can/need be.

From what I've been told, you get a strike by missing class, workout, meeting, and I think a bad grade too....pretty much, it's easy stuff to avoid.

Odiari not listed-guess he still has academic work to do
Givens not listed-academic suspension or is he permanently gone?
Givens was kicked off the team. I also heard Justin Willis was kicked off too for violating June Jones' new 3 Strikes system.
And the trolls keep coming.
Trolls, eh? But who said it first....doesn't matter how many posts you put down, so long as you got the contacts. I can post 4000 BS comments but does that make me any more reliable than someone with multiple football players on the team who are sources?

Did I list their names? I see other people doing it too; I think everybody will be fine at the end of the day. Players don't live inside of a bubble.

very true, players are asked not to announce any team info to "non team members/staff" but most players arent that smart.

just friendly advice. take it for what it's worth... but i personally wouldn't go around saying "players told me this or that".... it's just better left as sources, for you and more importantly the players

JWill is on his 5th or 6th strike and is suspended from the football team. His locker his cleaned out, he's not working out with team or attending meetings, and he's not participating in spring ball. And in JJ's offense no practice in spring ball no play in fall ball.
All this 3 strikes chatter makes me curious, what exactly constitutes a "strike"? Do either (blog or supes) of you know? Or anyone else out there? Is it missing meetings, missing class, getting in fights at parties, parking tickets, or just bad attitude? Is being late for a meeting as big a strike as missing it completely? Just thought I would pipe in. Did not know if any of you read the other thread. All players suspended will be back after spring ball. JJ is making an important statement that should have been made long ago. We have a HC for the first time in a long time and players like JWill and Hud better take notice? We will be a better team because of this.

PB had plenty of chances to get the backups playing time last year and for reasons only he knows didn't. Turner is well versed in the spread so let's see what he can do before we push the panic button. Afterall JW wasn't exactly setting the world on fire last year.
