Stallion:

The starting guards for the first place Chicago Bears, Roberto Garza and Josh Beekman are both listed as 6'2".

Garza played in the Superbowl for the Bears and Beekman played in the ACC at Boston College.

But they probably would not have been good additions to SMU's OL, right?

I assume that Bears are probably waiting for them to grow, right?

A lot of D1 programs thought Garza was undersized too. He played at A&M-Kingsville.

I want tall OL. We shouldn't be relying on exceptions to the rule, like with every other position.

Maybe so, but you and Otto already pointed out that Rivals isn't always accurate.

Looking forward to your feedback on how Padron and Favreau did.

positives about Favreau: a year younger than his classmates, something like a 31" vertical, good atheticism, people seem to think he's going to grow. on the downside, he's anther 6'2ish OL.

Here is the link to the game (upper left hand corner).

Coppell ties it 43-43 with 3 minutes left. Padron will get to practice his 3 minute offense.

Southlake loses its first 5A District Football Game-EVER. Padron had at least 4 TD passes though mostly of the shorter variety.

Padron had to have over 400 total offense.
