Jeremy Johnson/Rickey Collins Game Updates

It's hard for me to understand why Rivals has rated Johnson, or have they ? Does anyone know the process, if in fact he hasn't been rated ?

Yes, I think Armen is trying hard keep him off the national radar. Once he goes 3 star or better then a lot of coaches from a national prospective start paying more attention. So he is trying to wait as long as possible.

With more games like that SMU will really feel the heat from national programs that have a late opening....That was one outstanding game last night both running and throwing by Johnson against a really good Lake Highlands team. I know they are trying to keep him under wraps but that's getting tougher every week. He is something else. I would love to see some clips from last night....

you can't hide a player at a perrenially strong program like TJT. They got Top 50 guys like Aston Dorsey committed to UT and also Gerron Anthony committed to OSU. . Everybody that recruits Texas has been through that school. You might hide a kid at a 2A South Central Texas school but not at TJT.

I think we hang on to both of the John Tyler guys. With what they are saying on other sites, it seems as though they are loyal to the coaching staff and the school.

Johnson rushed for 117 yards on 25 carries and completed 7 of 11 passes for 122 yards.

Tyler John Tyler eliminated 31-7 by Klein. Jeremy Johnson completed seven of 15 passes for 86 yards and 3 Ints for John Tyler (12-2) and also rushed for 93 yards on 18 carries. Rickey Collins caught only 3 passes for 15 yards
