Jeff Skilling or Laura Bush? Get a grip East - they dont belong in the same country much less the same sentence.

You have chuckle a little about cap't scurvey and his dismissal. Talk about handing them a bat to hit you with....for a guy that is supposedly so smart, he sure does stupid things.

Somewhere Bennett is laughing his a** off.

I know I shouldn't be concerned or 'look' at this whole affair, however it has a car wreak feel to it. If I think better on it, I'll stop reading the posts, however right now it's real interesting.

What has James done that merits getting dumped by ESPN?
If any of us felt our children were being mistreated, I'd like to think we would have done the same thing. By all accounts, the James family had a complaint and went through the proper channels.

there is no way this gets him fired...it has to do with his son, not him

So being an analyst for ESPN somehow causes James to lose the right of a parent? He's not going to lose his job over this. That's ridiculous. Leach did this to himself. All the James family did was report inappropriate behavior to the school. Maybe Leach should have thought what a media circus this might become BEFORE he locked the kid in a closet.

Now the question is what does this do to his run for Senate? I'm guessing he lost some votes out west. Probably picked up a few around Austin and College Station though!
