Could it possibly be the malodious odor of "better than thou", "you drive that", "Bush Library" and the likes that precedes the coaching staff, in Texas, getting a shot a kids who may not think they will fit in or want to be a part of such a mentality?

I hesitate to post this because I want the thread to die. But its very title is more than offensive. June Jones has been the best thing that has happened to this football program since Doak Walker took off his SMU jersey and headed for Detroit.

"Defend" June Jones indeed. We don't deserve him and yet here he is. The guy deserves a statue right next to the Doak Walker statue and he hasn't even left campus, much less died.
