Really? You want to put a sign on national television about one of the worst losses in our history?

How about "Even the dumbest kid with Down Syndrome knows how to spell it."

Are you implying Down's Syndrome is spelled inappropriately? Down's Syndrome is named for the physician who first characterized it, John Langdon Down--hence the term Down's Syndrome. Calling it Down Syndrome--while also appropriate--is just shortening the name. I think your post illustrated my point.

Wow, where to start with this monstrosity? First, I'm not implying anything. My attempt at subtlety went flying over your head, but I was pretty much flat saying you are stupid. Now, do we need a refresher course in possessives? Or as you know it, English 401.

I don't pronounce the h in herb, I don't call an elevator a lift and I don't put petrol in my car.

Now, run off to google to find a stinging retort.

I see you checked out Wikipedia for yours..."Down syndrome, or Down's syndrome (primarily in the United Kingdom" is the very first sentence. Pot, meet Kettle.

Either that, or I'm a little more worldly than you. Or someone who doesn't really think the height of wit is ridiculing those with Down syndrome.

You stay classy now Highland Park.

Highly doubtful. I just caught you pretending to be smarter than you really are and making fun of someone for doing exactly what you were doing. It's called Little Man Syndrome...or Little Man's in the UK.
