Agree with Nick...hire Mason, promote Klemm ( he isn't ready for HC status with only three years coaching) keep the recruits and get a young up and riser coach to get SMU to the next level. The $$ are there again from the COC's as we are all spoiled now and know that it can get done here after all.

Name an Offensive Coordinator. Jason Phillips who is the Offensive Coordinator at UH is a name-but he might just get the Houston Head Coach job

According to ASU boards, the ASU folks came to SMU. That really makes no sense, I don't think June would do that when hosting the biggest recruiting weekend since the early 80's. Say what you want about June and is ego, but I just can't imagine he would jeopardize p!!ssing of so many very talented future Mustangs.

former UH All-American and ace recruiter. He's Houston's Klemm in recruiting. Has Texas ties at 3 schools over a decade. We almost hired him I think under Bennnett but he went back to alma mater at last minute
. I think he calls the Offensive plays for UH-but you've got to consider the Keenum factor. Only way we could get him is if UH turns him down for Head Coach-he just might get another Head Coaching job this year
