I will be supportive, but this is the worst SMU jersey in 60 years. If the players don't like it, just don't use it. Besides the Dave Smith years and some of the Mike Cavan years, we always had great uniforms before. We just needed to learn how to Win recently. Why screw up the uniforms ? Of course if we Win who cares ?

I have a late b-day [deleted], also a different state which means you could start at a different age, like Indiana and Illinois start a year after us. Besides wtf does it matter, I'm the age they want to recruit as of now because my class and the one after would be the incoming big east class.

I've noticed... lol, it's why I don't post very often, that and being in Wolverine town keeps me outta the loop of any other college team.

The presentation is so bush league and perpetuates the stereotype that smu is small time. Get our two best players to model the pic that will sure be seen by thousands of people!! Get zach line, margus and or GG please!! And what's with the artwork behind them?? Get some freaking smu pictures or something as a backdrop! I could've taken a day off from my real job and done way better in the marketing here, as I'm sure any ponyfans would have.

The jerseys themselves are hs at best. No smu?? No blue? The freaking swoosh is bigger than the mustang logo. If this is Rick Harts first project at smu, color me very very unimpressed. Steve orsini wouldn't have let this happen.

The new uniforms were obviously in the works long before Rick Hart arrived.

To think anybody at SMU had any influence over Nike on these anyway is naive at best. The blame for these rests on Orsini for signing with Nike.

This part, however, is right on the money.

I noticed the new uniforms didn't make the Uni Watch ticker today. It's very rare a new college football uniform isn't highlighted there the next day. I know I didn't send it in since I was pretty embarrassed by the whole thing, and I imagine I am not the only one.

You're probably right about that. Still, I hope Rick listens to the outcry against these things.

They could be saved with some last-minute tweaking, though..

To set the record straight, I had nothing to do with the new uniform design.

A new uniform announcement should inspire and excite.

This one does neither.
