I don't understand the preference on this board for the Big East over the MWC. The schools in the MWC have a foundation of history together. Wyo, CSU, AF, BSU, SDSU, Fresno, New Mexico, Nevada... the conference makes sense. The future Big East are just a bunch of schools that are continuously scheming to get out.

Unfortunately both options suck. MWC is garbage. There are a few good/decent teams, but no one that anyone really cares about aside from Boise- who has been good for a decade plus now.

It's neither here nor there right now. We just need to set tight & let everything play out & move, if need be, when the time or opportunity arises. For once, we actually have some time on our side.
BRING BACK THE GLORY DAYS OF SMU FOOTBALL!!!
For some strange reason, one of the few universities that REFUSE to use their school colors: Harvard Crimson & Yale Blue.

That statement doesn't even make sense. If the conferences are about equal what does it matter where we play. I agree with Stallion, no need to pay an additional exit fee to achieve the same status.
The remaining big east is an utter joke. I'd rather play in Vegas than at temple[/quote]
What he said.

Every conference but the Big 4 is filled with a bunch of schools that are continuously scheming to get out, if anyone wanted the trash in the Mountain West they'd be gone in a minute.

Do you realize that the MWC was formed by a bunch of schools scheming to get out of the WAC?

Once the BE gets raided again it will just be CUSA. there we are again choosing between MWC and CUSA.

UNLV has been terrible for the longest time with their last bowl appearance coming in 2000 under John Robinson. At least Temple has put up some good seasons the last few years.

Kick Wyoming out. They belong in the Big Sky Conference.

You're joking of course. Wyoming is FBS, the Big Sky Conference is FCS.

500,000 people live in the entire state of Wyoming. Enough said

So what, how many people live in Boise, Idaho or El Paso, TX or Greenville, N.C.? What is your point?
