These random marquee games seem to have been a part of TCU's recipe for success. Like we've discussed on here ad nauseam, wins against the teams people care about is the only way to turn heads, and michigan would certainly fit that bill.
Now, can we keep the game within 40 points? That is the real challenge.

Right now we are viewed by Michigan as their 2018 cupcake. Hopefully in 5 years it will be said that Michigan did not anticipate this to be a match up of top 25 teams when it was scheduled.

Scheduling Michigan is great! And the story about how the Ford Mustang was named is true. I heard Hayden Fry tell it as it was.

We are going to get throttled in this game but it gives me a great excuse to make a trip up there. Looking forward to it.

I think Michigan scheduling UM is great, but I'm saying this now:
1) We did it solely for the money, and
2) If we have a losing record going in or are struggling then we are going to be wondering 'Why did we schedule Michigan and not (enter cupcake here)?'
