I really don't think I"m that smart.

This team has clearly plateued. Not sure about declining. Our recruiting is clearly getting worse, yes. I'd say our players are well prepared, though often lacking fire.

Why even bring this up? Because I'm also sick of hearing many posters say ad nauseum that June's stealing SMU's money.

I hope we agree that we want SMU football to be successfull. We do disagree on our current status, as I'm much more negative on our prospects moving forward. I don't think we're improving our position, and that worries me in the constantly changing football landscape. Many will say we're already irrelevant. I'm not sure if that is true right now, but I fear that is where we are heading.

I really don't think we disagree on our current status. As you point out, Sagarin says it all. And the lack of recruiting is very concerning, the cubbard seems bare for the next coach. I think the source of our differences lie in how much blame we want to put at the foot of June. I say the guy has done a good job and has taken an unncessary amount of vitriol. But I also say the time is NOW to move on the next coach. Anoher year with JJ will be a year of opportunity lost.

If you are broke and I pay your rent, then you buy me lunch, did I pay for your lunch?
