Even if it is not an academic issue, if it is amateurism as it sounds like, then it is still a problem with Prime Prep. If they aren't keeping agents away from their kids, then we are going to be wasting more time on every player we recruit from there.
Currently our highest ranked football recruit (maybe second highest) is a PP student. Our top 2016 bball prospect is at PP as well.

So 2 more guys who have not yet passed the NCAA clearing house? I hope they do play for us, but I'm not getting my hopes up.

The reality is basketball is controlled by a sleazy AAU system. High school coaches have little control or influence over their AAU Handlers. I am not suggesting that PP is without fault, but if you are recruiting MacDonald's AA, it just a fact of life... its just sleazy and I hate it.
Once again we have no PG when Nic Moore is out of the game. Even when in the game, because we have only one component dribbler, presses will give us a ton of trouble.
I still believe that blame should be placed on the AAU system and the shoe companies like Nike and Under Armor that have usurped the high school programs for their own monetary gain. It will take a major sponsor, like McDonald's to recognize how corrupt the system is and pull their sponsorship in order to start to clean It up.
A real kick in the nads. Is the WDWHA committee meeting yet? Yeah, for SMU whatever can go wrong always seems to happen. If there are any eligibility issues, would rather he went pro than to win out and then have the NCAA forfeit all our games, give us DP II, and send us to the closet without our supper.
