His LinkedIn says he has a gig...wonder if the company listed is eponymous for an smu letterman who bears the same name? Also says he is doing independent contract work for NCAA

I heard Orsini wanted nothing to do with Larry.
I also heard he badmouthed Turner and it got back to RGT and he was basically told to resign or be fired

The Alamo defenders stayed - they didn't let the Mexicans have it. June's idea is equivalent to Travis picking up and moving to a strategically insignificant fort in another state.
NO, I was referring to we stuck to our Alamo like schedule this year, and will play Baylor, A$M,
and the froggies this year.
I think JJ was trying to get across the idea that the Alamo has no chance of holding, and we need
to excommunicate the NCAA members that have gained tremendous unfair advantage from all
sports

Sure. He can keep tilting at windmills, hopefully not on SMUs dime.

Back in the 1940s, Matty Bell suggested a four-game spring college football schedule as a way of seasoning up the troops for the regular season. He noted that players "merely endure practice but love the games."
I think "Moanin' Matty's" idea has merit.

To quote someone (woody Paige I believe) on around the horn: "I care more about what January jones has to say, than I do June jones, about football"

Not that it matters, butI would rather have the 'have nots' of college football play in the spring than being stuck with all this World Cup soccer crap. Not defending Jones as I well know that can never be accepted on this board, just stating a personal preference after trying to watch the USA play one full critical soccer game. Soccer sucks and even the have nots play a better game than the best soccer professionals in the world.

http://collegesportsblog.dallasnews.com ... ually.html I say kick em out and let them start their own little ncaa for
ALL sports
Probably someday the public will demand a have nots vs. haves championship game.

Must be nice to be so close minded to what you are used to that you can't even appreciate what the world has to offer. Must make making decisions so nice since you only have one view.
