UNT's seems a little more idiotic than most. I mean they just HATE us. It's bizarre.

I can assure it's just a select few just like there's just a select few SMU people that fit the description of how some UNT people view SMU.

You'd think they would direct most of their hate towards Texas Tech since that's where the majority of their students were rejected by when applying for college.

Honestly? It's not something I've looked into, but people get rejected when applying to Tech?

Judging by all the activity regarding UNT, you'd think SMU fans actually are considering UNT a rival even if you guys facetiously continue to ignore the idea.

edit - I also want to let the world know, George Dunham is the most boring, vapid, conservative, uninteresting radio personality on The Ticket. It's not even a UNT thing, I LOVE Junior Miller and he's a UNT guy too.

Being the realist that I am, all major rankings other than Jeff Sagarin have ranked UNT better than US. SMU's average ranking is currently 97 versus UNT's average of 81. Vegas thinks UNT is better than us by +2.5 pts. Despite what the rolling record is, UNT is currently on an upward trajectory, where as we've peaked under the JJ era. NTCC is doing some football things up there.

This is not a rivalry for SMU. It is a game against an in-state directional school that is located in Denton.
