Why do these things happen to my teams?? It was about this time last year when the Eman story broke that he would not go to SMU and turn pro in China. The highest ranked high school recuit to ever do that. Now it looks like DeAndre might flip back to LA after giving the Mavs a verbal. Making him the most high profile NBA player to ever do this. Screw me.

This DeAndre Jordan thing is the gutpunch of all gutpunches. To back out on the last day of the moratorium is simply ASTOUNDING. Nothing has changed from the time Jordan gave the Mavs a verbal commitment and now.
Also, who in their right mind would do business with the LAC now? This will be remembered by GM's and agents around the league.

So let's see if Cuban holds to his assertion that he would absolutely tank if no DeAndre. And I would hate it.. But the mavs need to do something to get Dirk to a contender. Dude doesn't deserve 2012 on to go as it has

I know the rumors are flying like never before on Twitter but supposedly Rick Carlisle will not stick around if the Mavs decide to tank the season. This thing is very likely to completely blowup. Tough day to be a Mavs fan.

and Lebron is on record saying he wants Carlisle to be his coach
just because we all have the same luck, here's whats going to happen.
Jordan gone
Dirk gone
Carlisle gone
Mavs need a coach, and so with that
LB gone from SMU

I like how Cuban acts like such an arrogant [deleted] and the smartest businessman in the world and yet he can't close on a marquee free agent to save his life-- Deron Williams, Dwight Howard, and now DeAndre (I'm sure I'm forgetting a few others over the years). He really got lucky inheriting one of the top ten players in NBA history when he bought the Mavs in 2000

brutal no doubt, but he just proved that he is indeed a third wheel, at least mentally. probably all he will ever be. Is that sour grapes? yeah, but also probably true. Aggie.

You guys may not want to pay anymore than you already are but you really should buy the Dallas Maverick WDNWHA app. That could give you a heads up on some of these happenings. The "pay for" app gives you good insight as to how the WDNWHA Committees work in the NBA. It is a little different that college.
You can just send me $9.95 and I will see you get signed up for all the latest WDNWHA info.
