This entire thread is a great example of off season boredom. Ready to get our season rolling so we can stop eating our own.

You should be proud to pay to try and recalibrate the petri dish of convoluted emotional tumult and issues that festered in that idiot's poor child's head. It's tough work...but hopefully someone can jump on that grenade.

Bottom line is HS recruits were coming in and noticing that their HS's had more up to date weight room equipment which stifles recruiting big time. Also safety features on heavy lifting stations have been added/changed in the last 15 years, so SMU had to make those changes first as well.

Bingo, why make recruitng any harder than it is already, donors were ready to commit to a solution so it got done.

If that is the case, our state education dollars are not being spent wisely.
