This is getting dangerously close to blowing up big time. If the national media decides to run with this Baylor is going to be in a world of hurt. I'm not 100% sure Briles is safe.

Reading the Baylor Board is.... well, I don't even know what to say. They simply can't fathom that Briles would lie or that they could do anything wrong. It's not even comical, it's sad.

What's really sad (pathetic) is how so many on this forum, like xiledinok, are so judgmental & high & mighty.
Shouldn't a true, loyal Baylor supporter have the knee-jerk reaction to defend Baylor?! After all, Art Briles has an impeccable reputation built on many, many years of coaching/playing at different levels. And doesn't Ian McCaw have a long-term, impeccable reputation?! And doesn't Baylor President, Ken Star, have an impeccable record across many careers?!
Shouldn't Baylor fans have the initial reaction to defend, not criticize? No one, repeat, no one on this board/forum has all the facts like those three outstanding men of honor & character.
Some of the critics on this board should, perhaps, look at their own laundry/beam...............................
Let the Baylor-haters have their day. Don't be one of them, x.

Someone even started a thread over there trying to find the IP address of the poster "BearTrapper" who "broke" the story before Texas Monthly article and had some of their quotes used. WTF is wrong with them?

I didn't think I could possibly hate Baylor more than I already do but I do now.
Briles is such a fraud, but we all knew that already anyway.

Peterson basically calling Briles a liar. Honestly, Peterson seems way more of a genuine guy than Briles. Briles has zero credibility right now. He looks like a morally bankrupt fraud who only cares about football.
