Remember how Larry Brown and the players said their defense wasn't up to par during last week's loss at Temple? Ponies held Memphis to 23.7 percent shooting and just 27 points in 1st half .... despite getting just one steal (by Sterling Brown)

If I didn't know any better, I'd think these refs might have money on this game... looks an awful lot like they might be trying to help Memphis cover.

I have not noticed the officiating that much. Thought several calls against Sterling were really picky.

Three Mustangs — Shake Milton, Sterling Brown, Ben Moore — have 3 fouls each.

More importantly, SMU has 10 team fouls, Memphis has 4 — Memphis shooting 2 on every foul for the rest of the second half
