Re: AAC tourney thread
Tulane's coach has been under a lot of heat this year from the media and alumni here in NOLA. It isn't a bg secret that a lot of folks want him gone.
I beat the AAC is fuming at the NCAA cause there conference, conference tourney and March Madness opportunities have been blown to smithereens by excluding SMU from post season play.

Memphis and Tulane should just swap coaches.

I'm not sure I've ever seen a team that can play so bad then flip a switch and play like world beaters like UConn.

Good grief! Tulane shooting 20 percent and only 16 points with 2 min to go in the half.
Long live Inez Perez!

Re: AAC tourney thread
If I were Cinci, I would be cheering really hard for UConn today. I think that with a UConn win, Temple and Cinci will get it. If Memphis wins, they will knock out Cinci. Either way, I think that the AAC gets three bids.

I was kind of thinking Temple would get bumped but the theory is the same.

unless Memphis wins today because UConn has the best shot as an at-large. If UConn wins today, you might be right

I hope so, but a Memphis win today probably hurts the chances of both of them getting in. Would love to see AAC get 3 bids and actually win some games in the big tourney
Re: AAC tourney thread
If I were Temple, I would not be resting easy. Fingers crossed for them and the conference.

Re: AAC tourney thread
I don't see how the committee can leave the regular season champ out. While we (AAC) are rated last/seventh of the "major bball conferences," it would have to be the first time a regular season champ from this group didn't receive an at large bid.
