He's on the roster. I don't think that's a mistake.

What are you drinking for breakfast?
I need some.
Froling was to be a big part of conference play....for better or worse. We are screwed short term and I wish he'd played out the year. Longer term I am ok with him moving on. To me he was a longer term project provided he put in the work. The real hurt just may be not having a shot at his little bro.

I wish he played like his sister.
I don't know much about basketball but nearly everyone could drive past him which I thought was a little disconcerting

What quality program does he go to that he's not deeper on the bench right now. He'll get recruited over at any quality program.

Drinking Froling adding nothing on defense and minimal efforts on the boards for most of the year. He added a little offense here and there (and I hoped he would step up for conference play), but the only way we will miss him is for a warm body that is big and can give Ben and Semi a breather.
We just need to find a way to replace his 14 minutes a game and play small. It hurts not saying it doesn't. But saying that it's gonna change the team from winning a lot more games than they were going to in the first place I don't think so. It does hurt though.

Are you assuming we lose Semi to the Pro's? From what I have seen this year Semi and Shake are quite ready to make that jump.
Shake is not ready for the pros. We do need Courtland now especially as a practice player.
I meant to say not ready.

I would be concerned about losing semi as a grad transfer. It could happen. But my sense is that he is a level above most when it comes to character and many above when it comes to smarts. He is no lock for a long NBA CAREER and it doesn't hurt a guy to be remembered fondly as an athlete in Dallas.

This is my ultimate worry as well. My hope is the same that he is a smart guy knows he can get two degrees at SMU, be well remembered, and be leading scorer and star of the team for two years (which he might not be somewhere else). If he leaves after this year it would be a disaster.

Will Harry's leaving now let us count his scholarship toward the NCAA nine scholarship penalty this year?

He will be missed as he is big and takes up space. Playing against the zone in the high post he catches and moves the ball well. He can score.
On defense he can play he does well enough and has 5 fouls to give.
At UALR we have a sr that transferred to university of Texas to sit on the bench this year after winnng 30 games last year and would be a starter.
Parents think he us an NBA player at 6'9" and about 225. He can shoot the 3 too slow to play defense at a high major.
Kids and family's make crazy decisions all the time.
The best advise I have heard given out is sign with a school that is down a league or 2 from where you get your highest offer. Or at least factor that in.

Re: Harry Froling transferring
Some were posting on the board that Harry was on his way to starting this year. Nothing against him but I didn't see who he would start in front of and got no response when I asked. He was not quite the player some touted him to be imo. Now that is not to say that he could not go to a team with system that would fit him better. He made the right choice just like Sed did imo.
