I have never seen it in any major conference where an AD stands on their teams sidelines instead of up in the boxes smoozing with supporters and his counterparts from other schools.
Have there been complaints from high level donors that he is not accessible? First you complain he is not watching bball from his seat then you complain he is visible on the fball sideline? We all know you dislike him, just say it.
Is it ok for Jerry Jones and bob kraft to go on the sideline? Why aren't they 'smoozing' corporate ceo's?
yeah I'm thinking he's down there making presentations that are made every week by the AD to various sponsors, SMU athletic teams, student athletes and alumni. I've never noticed he's spent the ENTIRE game on the sidelines-I bet that's another pile of [deleted]

When momentum starts rolling downhill in recruiting-WATCH OUT.
He works the crowd just fine. Just another example of people seeing what they want to see. He also genuinely loves watching our teams play. So there's that.
Just a suggestion to the person in charge of getting students to the games. First come first serve at the gates. Stop this mob stuff and getting tickets in the AM or days in advance. Student section doesn't fill up until midway through the 1st half.

It wouldnt be fair to the MOB students who signed up for the program to not have access to the biggest game of the year.
HOWEVER...I would send out an email to all Mob members: "Due to the importance of the upcoming Cincy game we are slightly modifying access to the mob section. All mob members will be granted access to their normal section BUT 15 minutes before tip off the section will open to all students."

I'm all for telling MOB students that after a certain time, ALL seats will be open to others -- they can still get in but will have to sit in open seats elsewhere or do SRO. Heck, I'm for telling that to red seat and sideline seat holders. But I don't think we're turning away students who wanted to get in but couldn't, are we? They could still show up if they gave a rat's arse. The Frat Daddies aren't not showing because they couldn't get in, but because they felt they had something better to do.
University of Cincinnati has an app to check in at various events to earn points for basketball tickets. The atmosphere at their games seems better than ours.
Probably because they hired away our game production guru from year 1 at Moody
All of you must be miserable in real life. Please keep finding nits to pick in what has been a good season. Last game was our first one back with the students and it filled in by midway first half against a team no one (students, alums, people of Dallas) care about.
