Looking at some of the highlites, it looks like Gu is really stepping up his game. That would be really huge for us next year.

Can someone explain.why we are getting this preview of our team .it seems to me that in the past every game was a scrimmage ,secret,etc...have we just missed out on this for years?

This is an international tour, allowed every four years. These Canadian teams set it up with NCAA teams as a part of a preseason event. We will still have a couple closed door scrimmages before the season begins.

Jarrey was also held out in the 2nd half.
Agau, Gu, and Whitt all had much better games today. Isiaha Mike is struggling early shooting but is doing everything else well.
That team we played today hit 21 3s. Good for us for winning, but we have to play better 3pt D.

From the stats:
FIVE steals for Mike. How does that happen?
Great stat line for Agau. Obviously that's not Cincy's front line but nice numbers.

Does anyone remember what the expectations for Semi were for his year here? He did very little at Duke and I was just wondering if anyone had in mind what he actually did for us. Wondering if that also holds true for Agau.

To an extent I think it could. Not the same caliber player that Semi was/is or same style, but talented/lots of potential as well. I think he could surprise people by being a double digits scorer (10-11ppg) and a 7+ rebound a game guy and could grow even more offensively going into his senior year (which he is likely to get).
He is much bigger and more physical than I thought he was and could lead to him getting fouled more. He is a real good FT from what we've seen so far and his Georgetown stats. If he gives us close to 11-7 a game we should be real tough this year.
