They actually are. They haven't beaten a D1 team in over a month, and their last win, December 16th, was a narrow 3 point win over Drexel, one of the worst rated teams in all of college hoops.

Coaches always talk about the importance of hitting free throws. SMU just 3/11 at the line so far
Temple leads 56-50

I'm the only one seeing the big picture here... already have 3 bad losses and this would make 4.
We can't afford to lose this and make the NCAA tournament. This is simply reality. The kids had to have known this was a can't lose game.

Temple did pretty welll against Clemson and Wisconsin.
