every unit (awarded for an appearance) in this year's tournament will earn about 1.67 Million for the Conference over a 6 year period. So right now the AAC has earned about 8.5 Million to be distributed over 6 years. Cincy could add to that by advancing. A Conference like the ACC has earned as many as 21 units in a single tournament which would be valued at 35.07 Million distributed over 6 years. And they consistently do it over the 6 year window multiplying payouts annually. They are currently sitting on 64 Tournament Units coming into the 2018 Tournament. So you're looking at annual payout of over 16 Million for the ACC

The sad thing is the NCAA actually gave The American great seeds for the first time this year and the conference just blew it.

Well this is why the AAC doesn’t get love from the tournament committee. Have 3 top 6 seeds and none of them make sweet 16. Maybe it’s not just SMU who is snake bit in the AAC.

Back to getting crappy seeds next season. Cincy and WSU killed us. UH was found money. Embarrassing for those two teams.
