Is LB the new standard for being pleased with the product on the court? Maybe we can get Wooden back from the grave. Perhaps recruit Havlicek and Kareem.

so you are trying to say that our record with Doh was better? or are you saying Jank has a better record and has recruited better than LB?
Sorry, but IMO this program is not at the performance level it was when LB was coaching nor is the enthusiasm and fan base. I think next season will be very pivotal.

ThereΓÇÖs no denying that this team has the talent to compete in the AAC, and I do expect them to finish in the upper-middle range (4-6) of the conference because of it. In terms of post-season play, however, between a relatively-down AAC that will probably only have 2-3 NCAA Tournament bids and the MustangΓÇÖs unimpressive non-con slate, I wouldnΓÇÖt bet on this being the year that they return to the Big Dance ΓÇô the NIT seems more realistic for the time being.

Still, if the freshmen and transfers play to their ceilings and everyone can stay healthy, thereΓÇÖs definitely a chance that this team could surprise and go on to bust some brackets.

I don't have any problem with any "expert" predicting the AAC will be down this season (compared to last) and might only get 2-3 bids, but I still say if this team is able to win 25-27 games as you suggested, we are going to be one of those 2-3 AAC teams that get bids. What I really think will happen is that the AAC will be much more balanced this season and I don't see anyone pulling a 16-2 like Cincinnati did last year. I think 14-4 could win the AAC outright this season and that there will be several teams bunched in between 12-6 and 8-10 (and that SMU will be among that grouping hoping for NIT bids).
