Gardner just called Mitchell Wilcox "a top 3 pick."

I'm as likely to be a top 3 pick as Wilcox is.

The ESPN announcer sure wants SMU to be ranked next week.

Hard to believe that next week we can become bowl eligible with 6 games to go instead of needing to win #12 to get there.

I hadn’t thought about that. That would be incredible. Like literally not to be believed.

This game was not competitive in the end but I expect Tulsa to bring it next week.

The announcers made a case for SMU making the playoffs. Let that sink in.

Everyone is jumping on the bandwagon and we are now favored to win every game except the game AT Memphis. I'm still having a hard time buying into the possibility SMU could run the table but it would take doing that AND beating UCF in the title game to have an opportunity to play against one of the big boys in a big money bowl game. I still don't think we are at that level but with every win I get more interested in what our opponents go on to do

That was a very bad team we played today. But we were on the road coming off a major win playing a team with two weeks to prepare.

I’m officially a believer now. I think we can go 10-2 and win a bowl game. But let’s slow the roll on anything past that. Sure it could happen but let’s enjoy this instead of doing what we seem to do with ease: set ourselves up for disappointment.

5 and friggin 0.

I thought Gipson and Lavine both looked good in mop up duty for true frosh. Lavine looked like he could replace Kemon as our north/south short yardage guy in future seasons

I’m flying back to Atlanta from a conference in Monterey, CA. I’m wearing an SMU hat and pullover. I have had so many people in the past couple of days and especially today talk about our guys and how exciting it is to see us playing well.

It’s amazing what playing well does for exposure. The way they’re playing now will pay huge dividends on the recruiting trail.

Proud to be a Mustang!
