Quality win.

Dayton beat Kansas in Florida. Neutral site games are weird (see Smoo vs #2 Arizona) but still impressive.

This is becoming a likeable group of guys. More talent than just Davis.

Dayton's going to have a nice season. Still can't figure out those weird early losses. I guess you mark that down to youth. But they're long and athletic. That press was absolutely killer.

A good win tonight. Now the toughest part of the non-conference with guys having to take exams and take a long layoff. Going on the road to New Mexico's "Pit" will be a big challenge for this team to keep the momentum they have going

Our guys shot better than 50% and had 9 steals and 6 blocks tonight. Phelps and Jalen Smith combine for 18 points on 8-10 FGs

Good win against a quality opponent.

The team is coming together I think. Jank has figured out the rotation to match this group.

I expect good things going forward.
Probaly won't happen...BUT...maybe it will!!

No Todorovic again tonight. Not sure if he's hurt or just can't earn minutes.

Yeah, I don't know. Was wondering the same thing.

By the way, this win puts Jank at 61 games above .500 at SMU.

He has his detractors, but can't deny he's done a good job bringing this team together. Let's see if they can keep improving as the season goes along

Very nice win! Jankovich is infuriating because he is solid enough to keep earning more opportunities but never good enough to take us to the promised land. I hope that changes either way this season, hopefully by getting us back to the NCAA tournament.

Night and day from what I saw earlier in the season. I understand that the team is loaded with unknown quantities and it takes time. But I am happy to see Jank getting a lot of ball movement and unselfishness out of these guys. I missed Phelps in the second half. He was a monster early in the game. Was he missing something defensively that I didn't see?

Good call. Ball movement/passing was outstanding last night.
I really shouldn't drink and type.
