Jank needs to go and take KD with him. Also I would not be sad if Hart & Turner were gone likewise. That 1st half was uncalled for. Hit the reset button and by all means get some bigs that can play! Let’s go SMU football!

This early exit from the NIT confirms the selection committee didn’t give SMU an NCAA tournament bid. It’s going to be even more difficult to get a bid in the future with a weakened AAC. Thanks Lil Ricky!

Jank mostly blamed a lingering malaise after not being chosen for the NCAAs. Also commented about rebounding advantage for WSU.

I hope D. Miller and the other BMDs saw how unprepared this team was. It will be interesting to see if they will upgrade the bball program or be happy with less than mediocre results. Yes, the other team had a height advantage but their skill set was far less than the ponies. It doesn't matter how good our record was you can't put lipstick on this pig and make it look pretty.

I was sitting right behind the end of the SMU bench, and Marcus was out a long period of the second half. Stood most of the time watching ? Was it to put in Clark with more height? Was tempted to ask him if he was ok, as he was withing a few feet of me.

We missed a ton of layups, albeit at a rushed pace. I thought when we had it to 4 it was going to happen. That huge dunk, and then a 3 ended our hopes.

I thought they played hard the whole game.

Agree. Had they played as well the entire game as they did the last 5-7 minutes they would have probably won.
