SMU is going to get a healthy dose of late games, unfortunatelyΓÇöbut this isnΓÇÖt just ACC Network and it isnΓÇÖt just SMU. Duke and Carolina have had a ton of 9 pm tipoffs EST. SMU does need to thank and retire the 2500 (remember them?), and find fans who can last until 10 pm CST.shadowman wrote:I think the 8pm start times are hurting attendance. This is all because of the ACC Network, wanting to do 2 to 3 games a night on basketball nights. The east coast teams get the 6:00pm start, SMU gets the 8pm start, and Cal/Stanford gets the 10:pm start. Hopefully the fans will get accustomed to this since it is a good thing these are televised. I would much rather prefer a 6 or 7pm start but understand it is part of the ACC's television philosphy.Hop Sing wrote:Impressive win, and I think the Louisville beat down was just what the doctor ordered for this team. When they play [deleted] defense and move the ball on offense this is a tough team. Really didnΓÇÖt expect a blowout but I sure enjoyed it. Beat Wake Saturday and they will be in the driverΓÇÖs seat for a 4th place finish in conference.
The students were great last night, but I was disappointed in the overall attendance. Saturday needs to be packed and LOUD!

8:00 starts should be a good time for the students. They just need to learn how to get loud.
