Re: Official BBVA Compass Bowl Game Thread
I decided to splurge for a plane ticket next year to any bowl game in the continental US (my wife wouldn't let me go to Hawaii without her and the baby). Today, I realized that Memphis was one of the few places that you can fly direct to from CT.
See you there.
See you there.

SMU crowd looked pretty good on TV
I was concerned Legion Field would look empty today, but it actually looked like a respectable turnout
Box score says 29,726

I was not impressed with the overall TV presentation, but they did a good job of keeping the stadium shots close so empty seats were not often seen. The SMU fans got a lot of shots. They show the Pitt fans once.

Thought I might have but there was a blond lady standing in front of whoever it was and I could not tell if it was you.

I'm totally upset. I had to miss the game as a result of coaching a swimming meet I found the score on the radio coming home. I tuned into ESPN Sports Center and watched for one hour. No score posted on the ticker tape, no highlights, no mention of the game. What a bummer that I cannot even see any highlights. Boycott ESPN.
