Do you think Patterson was sweating the game until the pick 6.

Style Points got old really quick
Padron averaged less than 5 yards per attempt, reminding me a little of Colt in the Sugar Bowl

Merely, symptomatic of the ineffectiveness of the O. O has been out of sync. for every game this season. They had a little rhythm in the last quarter of the WSU game. We got spoiled because of the Nevada game where things worked out and the O was in sync. We are not close to that rhythm or sync thus far this year. Our young O receivers and Padron are simply a year away from being competitive against a good team.

we had more rushing yards and only 16 less passing yards than the frogs.
I guess i should feel happy about tonigh's outcome, for some reason I really don't

Re: Official SMU-TCU Game Thread
this sorta feels like the tech game to me. frustrating loss, but both teams feel lucky getting past us. we're still a few steps back in the growth of the program to get to that level, but we're not that far.
and, KP's play is frustrating, but at some point, the 'light will go on', and then this team will really look good. it'll come.
we're 2-2 heading into the heart of the schedule. not too bad.
it's all still better than in recent memory, so just patience and hope.

Largely agreed but if we would have converted 3 or 4 of those it would have been a much close game, that's all I was saying.

As Meredith would say, "Turn out the lights, the party is over." We had a chance and made the errors that ultimately cost us the game. Nice effort; however, there will not be one team member who will not believe that this game could have been won after reviewing the film.

Hence the reason for the 2/14 on third down

Only thing more frustrating then watching Padron not release is seeing over and over again a fat toad coach yanking on his pants ...over and over again.
Re: Official SMU-TCU Game Thread
totally agree....I cant believe how many times patterson yanked on his pants! They also showed him tying his shoes and wiping the sweat off his face way too many times. I even noticed at one point he tossed the towel back to the tower girl with some fervor! This just is a reminder what a class act June Jones is compared to patterson.
Re: Official SMU-TCU Game Thread
Frog fan here. SMU played a good game tonight. You guys are getting better. I yelled at the TV several times. Now go win the rest of your games by large margins.
Re: Official SMU-TCU Game Thread

I wouldn't say the weheels came off at any point throughout the game. This game was a lot like Tech, but the costly pick 6 doesn't make the score board reflect that.

Re: Official SMU-TCU Game Thread
Anyway, Patterson had better keep a hold of this year's game film, because next year almost all the Stangs will be back. He might need a new pair of pants after tonight.
