Did you notice that the cougar band played their fight song while we were playing Varsity after the game? The cougar players had left the field. No class whatsoever at cougar high.

I don't like Thursday night for anything other than ESPN, but 90% of America gets Fox Sports or their associated channels
According to my direct TV guide this was on around the country.

There are still a few holes in Fox Sports' penetration, though.

That was terribly classless. I never understand why schools think that that is ok.
I will confess that my response was also lacking in class, as I unloaded a torrent on the band, and one of their directors outside the stadium afterwards. I just felt they needed to have some manners, and to teach their kids some manner. In hindsight I should not have used the profanities that laced my lambasting of them, but I have no regrets about making them aware of my feelings.
Some of the girls in the band particularly looked visibly shocked. I hope they remember it.

Some of the big plays made Sports Center...so lots of people know about it even if they didn't see the game.

So you screamed profanities at students, admonishing them about their lack of class? ironic, don't you think?

You could only find a very few markets east of the Mississippi that carry this lesser channel. For some reason most cable companies do not carry it and only selected Comcast areas have this channel and I do not know why because they carry other Fox channels but not this one. I repeat that there were virtually no viewers who were able to watch this game on TV, it could not therefore be promoted nationally and the whole decision for a Thursday night game was wasted and SMU gained no benefit. In fact, I think SMU actually lost on this game when you factor in that there were no bodies in the stands, kids in mid terms.....etc.

I was in South Carolina and it was on a few different channels, including one in HD. I have Charter Cable at that house. It was on in North Carolina too, on Time Warner Cable.
I wouldn't underestimate Fox Sports' reach. That is not even counting Direct TV or Dish, which gets all of those channels.

Mustangsabu said he regretted his actions, though I think actions were warranted. I wanted to run across the field and go all Roy Williams on the drum major.

Don't like the profanity, which abu said he regrets. But I thought about doing the same thing myself until I realize that it appears to have been a simple mistake on their part. Once they figured out we were playing our alma mater, they abruptly stopped midsong.
