Now let's show we know how to use Line.

Zach now ahead of Sims in total yards. Currently at #13 in the nation (Sims is #16), though both will bump down after Saturday's games.

I have a hard time believing it was an innocent mistake.

You could only find a very few markets east of the Mississippi that carry this lesser channel. For some reason most cable companies do not carry it and only selected Comcast areas have this channel and I do not know why because they carry other Fox channels but not this one. I repeat that there were virtually no viewers who were able to watch this game on TV, it could not therefore be promoted nationally and the whole decision for a Thursday night game was wasted and SMU gained no benefit. In fact, I think SMU actually lost on this game when you factor in that there were no bodies in the stands, kids in mid terms.....etc.

This was on Fox Sports, not on CSS (the channel that "only selected Comcast areas have"). I like you PoconoPony but you are dead wrong on this one. Here are all of the channels that had this game:

Fox Sports Arizona, Detroit (Plus), Florida, Midwest, North, Ohio, Oklahoma, South, Southwest, West, Wisconsin, Sportsouth, Sun Sports, MSG Plus, Root Sports (Rocky Mountain Region) & Fox College Sports Central.

In Pennsylvania the game was either on Fox Sports Ohio (in Western PA) or MSG Plus (in Eastern PA). Plus, anyone with the DirecTV Sports Package or similar Dish Network package could watch on any of the above-mentioned channels.

I repeat: THIS GAME WAS NOT ON CSS

Maybe not. I live in Mayberry.

Considering all of the Alma Matergate we have experienced this season, it is kind of surprising there isn't some standard postgame order worked out that everybody just uses to avoid all of the controversy.

It's pretty straightforward to figure out who should go first based on home/road and win/loss.

Of course, that would take all of the fun and intrigue and controversy out of it, right?

Well, I'm not familiar with all their tunes, but it sure seemed like they finished to me. I didn't hear anything that stopped abruptly.

I didn't curse, but I mouthed off at them. It involved "classless" "coming into our place" and "punks".

I think the problem is a lot of schools have their own end of game routine, usually something like "alma mater for the players and fans, then kick it into fight song and post game cheers" or whatever. For example, I know our band has Shanty Town, sing Varsity, then Peruna, rodeo yell at the end of the night. UH probably doesnt have visiting bands at most games, so this isn't an issue normally. So, they play their alma mater, we start to play ours, but they've already blown into their fight song or whatever. Is it intentional? Probably not, but could easily be solved with a 2 minute conversation between the directors of both bands.

That was terribly classless. I never understand why schools think that that is ok.

I will confess that my response was also lacking in class, as I unloaded a torrent on the band, and one of their directors outside the stadium afterwards. I just felt they needed to have some manners, and to teach their kids some manner. In hindsight I should not have used the profanities that laced my lambasting of them, but I have no regrets about making them aware of my feelings.

Some of the girls in the band particularly looked visibly shocked. I hope they remember it.

Great man, you are. Before the game their band was sauntering down the street with the dorm construction and blocked the shuttle bus I was in. They deserved more than you gave them because I neglected to tell them how I felt. Hey guys, don't mind the TWO TON PIECE OF METAL THAT YOU'RE IN THE WAY OF! Now fix the Slurpee machine and mop the restrooms!

I actually need surgery on my knee. I've been doing the Beans shuffle way too much. Not really though, I injured it in the Muay Thai match that my photo is from.

Houston's band finished the song. I was watching their leader. They knew what was going on. Classless!

Oh definitely. We were well into Varsity before they even started.

I know Thai cups are steel, but still.... with all the kneeing to the inside of the thigh and to the gut, do you eat nut shots all day in practice?
