we just still arent physical enough to matchup which is what i feared. Not surprised we lost our composure. that happens when you are nervous and not equal talent. Big mistake to give up on KP.

We have 3 tomato cans coming up, if he can't get right by the TCU game then he never will and us getting to a bowl will seriously be in doubt.
They who would give up an essential liberty for temporary security, deserve neither liberty or security
Back on since I don't think it will matter. Don't know what has been said during the game, but, as much of a KP supporter I have been, JJ did the right thing putting JJ in. KP should have looked much better. OUr defense has a LOT of work to do........am thinking that we will have another hard time w/uh at this time. Zach was awesome, but wish we had passed more. Margus was great w/the blocks tonight....don't know if any team can come back after spotting the opponents 20 points. I definitely feel KP has to earn/win the starting position back.

you've got to be kidding, right?
Only question for this season is whether McDermott is now the starter until he tanks. If that becomes the plan, KP will certainly be a quality backup. This is a senior laden team and this team should compete for the CUSA championship
we may have dreamed, but most of us knew coming in that we would probably lose to both A$M and TCU. We have tough CUSA games against Houston, Tulsa, USM and UCF but we should at least be more competitive with those teams
a blowout loss like this is a character tester; let's see if the guys respond or let this very disappointing loss ruin their season
The prospect of having a minimally experienced senior QB get all the playing time this season would be disappointing. Disappointing because we would face the exact same situation next season with KP being a 1 year minimally experienced QB. We really need to get KP's head screwed back on and try to salvage this season with a positive view to next season.
I agree that our future hinges on getting KP figured out, which is why I was stunned that JJ opted to keep McDermott in for the 2nd half. A QB leads us to our first two bowls in over two decades and he gets benched after two series? Just seemed lack a complete panic move that could set the rest of our season off balance. Personally, with a game likely out of reach, I'd have rather gone down with our veteran QB who could use the big game experience.
