Ya'll's idea of what we're like is comparable to what we think of ya'll: a bunch of rich, snobby preppies who drive around in their BMW's and Hummers drinking Perrier with Crown Royal. Your girlfriends are like Dan Akroyd's fiance in the movie "Trading Places"...you have to make an appointment with her two weeks in advance for sex! Ya'll's idea of tailgating is having your domestic helpers deliver it to your skybox seats. And gameday attire is wearing the colors and letters of another school while watching that team play on national TV instead of attending your own school's game on campus!
We look forward to bringing more fans to Dallas this September (probably 4,000+) than your student body brought to all of your games combined last year!
Hmmm....the last paragraph is correct. But the Boulevard is a better tailgate experience than you describe. And some of us leave our Hummers (with the SMU license plate) at home and are forced to drive whatever Avis gives us to the game.
Best wishes to your Sam Houston Institute of Technology....
Hey I love the schedule because it gives us the shot to build some mo. But I must admit it is hard to get any hate going for these pathetic little kitties. Yawn,..... and pass the Perrier.

Yeah, I'd guess the ole low-rider might have somewhat of a difficult time making the trip from McAllen.

One step at a time. The key is not to stick around too long. We had better blow out these teams this year and play some better teams next year.

Wow, did you come up with that all by yourself?
Preface: MM1965, none of the following is directed at you, and this is all in good fun...beats the other boring crap on the board of late...
RE: 'Did you come up with that all by yourself:' I should ask you the same about the low rider comment. Good thing for you I'm not one of those ultrasensitive types that would expect politcal correctness. You've obviously never been to the valley. FWIW, come drive around north McAllen and start counting Escalades...and Hummers...and BMWs...and Mercedi and Lexi...the economy probably mirrors a 3rd world country...where 10 % of us have 90% of the money. Then again, I digress; I thought ya'll were talking sh*t about SMU, which btw is in HP, not el valle.
But touche on the low-rider joke. Oh yeah, I believe Hispanics are the majority in Texas, and one of the 5 most common male names is Jose. So you're liable to see a low-rider anywhere.

We don't wear the colors of a different school to games. Tell me one team that has pastels as their team colors, preferrably in the plaid or seersucker form.
So our tailgate looks like the Kentucky Derby? Big deal... better than it looking like the pre-game festivities at a NASCAR race.
-- And what's with the low-rider comment? Since when does SMU have a reputation for having any of those on campus? Last time I checked, we were considered one of the "WASPiest" universities in America.

I dunno, for the sake of humoring you, SMU finished 5-6, beat three bowl teams, beat a top 25 team, finished the year winning three straight. Not great, but an improvement and better than your 3-7 in division 2.
Once again, people come on this board and get irritated with us when we are not greeting you with open arms. I will tell yu the same thing we keep telling the NTSU'ers. Please don't mistake our indifference for animosity. It isn't that we hate you, it is that we don't care. You and your school are wholly irrelevant.
I know you guys are still enjoying that 2001 over independent I-A Louisiana-Monroe, but get a grip.

Thats the best description of the Boulevard I have ever seen, and, very funny.
