Let's not forget another of the more memorable "upstanding" student athletes that have come out of TCU like Kurt Thomas. If memory serves me correctly, he once smacked his wife around over a laptop.

so PB was the one who bailed martin out of jail... one of the players called him as the cops showed up to the scene. Martin was given the charges for knocking a cops hand off of his arm, when the cop tried to pull him aside and aparently just reason for using the tazer?! Its good to see the players see PB as someone they can trust when they are in a bad situation. This should be a huge boost to the players confidence when their coach gets their back and bails them out of jail! Kudos to PB!

If that scenario is true, it will be just like the fight after the Tech game a couple of years ago -- as players, you want to play hard when you know your coach has your back.

I hope Bennett was not the one to BAIL him out of jail that's an NCAA violation. I am sure you are mistaken. (Hint, Hint.). On the other hand if he was released on his own recognizance to the custody of Bennett that would not be a violation.

You got the point of what i was trying to say... sorry for not being politically correct. I wasn't aware my comments were going to be broken down that much

Given that we are still paying the price of having the death penalty levied upon us, I just wanted to make sure that it was clear that Bennett was not running around breaking NCAA rules.

All 3 Coach Bennetts are known to be "stand-up" guys in this regard.

Having met all three, I'd say they're as "stand-up" as you can get.
