How so? Dodging a bullet = getting lucky that double coverage couldn't get their hands on the ball. That was the first interception of many potential picks.

how many f-ing times are they going to run that 5 yard slant? How can we not stop that play? they've run it at least 30 times...

1. I just meant that by getting hit all day, our O hasnt done much since the opening drives. Willis has taken some hits as well
2. and as for stopping that slant, you cant. if the DBs bite then im sure leech will have the WR run a double move. The DBs need to play a little tighter in my opinion

No argument there, our D-line has been pretty inept too - although with TTU's gigantic O-line I don't know what else they could do.
...and when I said "hit" I was using the term in the context of the bullet metaphor (i.e., we were finally hit by a bullet that we did/could not dodge).
