Does anyone truly know what we're trying to do on offense? What's is the philosophy Doh is trying to instill. We should have run these guys, got our guards in the lane, and put pressure on the D. When Williams did just that, he scored and got good looks. McCoy was just off.

this team won't win a game this year when McCoy and Faye hit a combined 25% of their shots

it's supposed to be a "motion offense".

All I see is perimeter passing, missing 3's, missed layups, and no rebounds.

Rice made us look silly all night all over the floor. The box score will show that they haven't shot like this all year against any team.

were young, we still stink and we are 5-9. So...what's the benchmark to say we are improved from last year? An 11-19 finish? 12-18? Can we "turn it around" and go 6-10 or better from here on out?

I can't seem to tear myself away from the excitement of it all.

Spring practice is right around the corner, right? I'll bet our football team will come out bigger and stronger than they were last year after lifting weights for a couple of months.

It's a special feeling being a Mustang fan...good night, all.

Forget the "we're young" crap. Bamba Fall (senior), Mouhammed Faye (junior) and Papa Dia (sophomore) need to actually drive to the hoop. I realize Bamba barely weighs 100 pounds soaking wet, but get within 5 feet of the basket, and use your height to SHOOT OVER YOUR DEFENDER for Christ's sake!!!!

And as several have already said, the first half of that game was painful to watch. Probably one of the worst halves of a game I have ever seen on both sides of the ball.

Rice was terrible, too. If they had actually been a decent team, we could have easily lost by 40. I had hope for a few minutes when we pulled it close, but then we proceeded to not play D, and let Rice throw it up without a hand in their face.

Is Mike Dement still coaching? I don't see much change in how our offense runs versus when he was here.

A-town, you don't know much basketball then if you don't see the difference between the offenses that Mike Dement ran versus Doherty....

What I do know is when your alleged 6-8 slashing power forward lives on the arc and opts not to drive to the basket, he becomes pretty to scout.

And you are right... Mo wants to shoot first... what's your point???
