If you want to accept their word on it, go ahead. They would never provide inflated numbers would they?

For my part, I go to every home game and I have not seen much improvement at all. They tend to "round up" and include promotional giveaways tix and no-shows in their figures. As an accountant, I am sure you are familiar with similar tricks

In fact, there have been games in the past few years (the improved years where JJ is "winning") when I could probably count the fans in the stands individually if I took the time.

Were you at the UTEP game? I was there. Beautiful Friday night at a very nice stadium - good performance and win, but embarrassingly low attendance.

Plus, a couple of games can skew these numbers (TCU last year), and JJ's first year set a nice low baseline that is easy to build on. We are at or near the bottom of C-USA and certainly not where we need to be or should be five years into the Orsini plan.

I meant Saturday night for the UTEP game of course. It was a perfect night for a game.

You're a heartbeat from a foe.

Take their word on it? I sit on the Mustang Club Board. I SEE THE [deleted] FINANCIAL STATEMENTS. SMU is audited numb nuts. KPMG is their auditor. I've read the [deleted] audit report.

I go to every home game and the occasional away game. Have done this for 10 years consecutive with rare exceptions. I have 10 tickets to every game, and they're all used.

No you couldn't. You continue with your petty baseless arguments.

Yes. The attendance, which is independently verified by the NCAA, only counts tickets scanned, not tickets purchased as this game was a near sellout, within 1000 tickets. Read up on the NCAA website on how they count it. This is why I think you're uninformed. You make claims and have no idea how the stats work.

I understand that TCU, Texas Tech, and others have helped the last couple years, and we won't have it this year, but, guess what, we played Tech here a few times over the last decade (filled the ford every time), and it didn't ever get our average over 20,000 for the year before, but our numbers do it now, so your statistical aberration theory is another bust.

And for the record, I sent you an honest and respectful PM. I even offered to have a face-to-face conversation at our boulevard spot with beers and food on me. I tried to explain this to you in private to take it off the board, but you're choosing to put it back on here, and you only make yourself look foolish.

I have definitely seen an increase in student turnout and support at games over the last 3 years.

I'll take you up on that offer! :D

Who do I need to insult?

Donate to Operation Sellout, and I'll definitely throw you some beers and conversation before the UCF game. PM me if you're interested. I talked them into taking a lower minimum donation of $100 on this if more people will take it.

It doesn't show up or you don't like it?

it shows up. your credibility (what little that was) was based on the very stoic image of the great Cox school.
