I used to go grocery shopping in Alexandria with my wife from Japan when I lived in Maryland well was stationed there for 4 years. My good friend and crew chief is from Danville and he'd cuss me out pretty good if I said he wasn't Southern. Virginia Beach is "home" now though (VB, Norfolk and the rest of the 7 cities are a melting pot for all of the USA but there seems to be a much larger number of rust belt guys and Texans than anybody else). He got to meet an old Black man that worked on Wendel Scotts NASCAR Stockers back in the day this spring while he was makin' a run up to Powattan to pick up a roll cage kit during one of our race car builds this past season. So I'd say that most of Virginia is the South. But I'm not a damn yankee, I'm a member of your military.

Dang Michigan Stadium crowd goes nuts when they win, Slippery Rock has played 2 Home Games at Michigan Stadium... the first one 60,000 plus Michigan fans showed up to cheer for them, the second only like 40,000 showed up and they lost both games to the home crowd's displeasure. Dave Brandon wants to bring Slippery Rock back to the Big House. So stay tuned on that one.
