Looking at zach lines interview video from media day, he is wearing a Nike polo completely devoid of blue. Are we going to the cavan almost all red look ?

How damn inept are we? everyone is rolling out their new uniforms to fanfare and publicity...nothing from us. Typical. Paging Rick Hart...

If we had a 'retro' uniform & helmet - of course, we could put all this %%$# to rest.

Paterno WAS the boss. You could make the argument that he was the most powerful person in the state of Pennsylvania. That a comparison can be made between what that slime bag did and June's preference for black jerseys is a little horrifying.
And for the record, the Nike jerseys surely will look awful, like their gear at other schools. But recruits like Nike and recruits like black jerseys, so we'll have them, and we need to cheer the team, rather than whining about the jerseys.

It's amazing to see uniform release after uniform release and just crickets from SMU. I take it to mean we are not important to Nike.

The soccer teams start in less than three weeks and there haven't even been any leaked pictures let alone an unveiling photo shoot. It's unbelievable.

We were an afterthought to Nike last time SMU was a Nike school. What makes anyone think it will be different this time around?

For some reason last night I started to think about the introduction of the new uniforms. It seems to me the right time would be right around the beginning of fall practice. With the beginning of practice the fans are now more tuned in and are more energized maybe there is a little more sense of urgency to purchase shirts, hats etc. That in turns means more apparel sold initially than you would have with a June or July introduction. Or maybe this is just typical fumbling by SMU, while waiting for Nike, when it comes to marketing. Who knows.

Any word? Getting a little antsy...

June rolled out the Jones era uniform at his first Kick-off luncheon. Display table with the red, blue and white jerseys, white pants with stripes and the white helmet.
Maybe those of us who attend the luncheon at the Omni will be the first to see a new uniform. Personally, I hope it is the same uniform we've been wearing - made by NIke.

If that happens, please someone take photos for posting. I unfortunately can not attend
