When you're used to winning two and three games a season, 6-6
is a wonderful record. But no one wants to stay at 6-6.

Someone told me that r.g.t. said he is happy with 6 to 7 wins a year.

Not sure if your supposed to be funny or not, but r.g.t. is trying to balance keeping
the egg heads happy and pretend to support sports at the same time.

Good luck with that! 120+ schools are looking for players with that profile so you'd better find a way to differentiate yourself quickly!

Fair enough. But if you aren't winning battles for higher rated recruits, this group becomes more competitive.

Isn't that the case already?

Until we start sending 3-5 star players away, June's "academic" excuse doesn't hold water. Let's say we manage to sign the next RGIII/Manziel and he needs academic help. There is no reason that we cannot promise (and deliver) the academic support that he needs.

Our recruiting is a freaking joke and has become a contender for worst class in the state.

It isn't a contender for worst class in the state, it is really a two team race between SMU and UTEP.
