From some of the comments it sounds as if the speakers may be situated right next to some seats which could be cause for some complaints if that close. I recall Ford being a problem and the speakers were relocated to better suit the fans.

I would think if the speakers were in the rafters above the floor pointing down they could be loud and effective without being right in someones ear.

But it is important that the noise level remain at a maximum at all times.

Only speakers I've seen are attached to the catwalk in a very typical arrangement. Easy to balance volume at all levels. The "it will damage my child's hearing" complaint is probably because the speaker itself isn't organic, gluten/sugar/GMO-free, vaccine-free, all natural, and free trade.

When music was played at timeouts it disn't seem as loud as last year. Really no comparison. Why they continue to get this wrong is beyond frustrating.

Had multiple complaints via GuestAssist last night that the music was TOO loud, including one that said we were damaging children's ears. It's a delicate balance. If you think it's too low, let us know via GuestAssist as well. Right now, all we hear at the game is that it's too loud.

I'm sorry but that is the most ridiculous thing I've ever heard. You obviously have to realize that your game presentation has been a problem all season long. That fact that you are continuing to listen to suggestions like it being " too loud" is crazy.

I'm really confused because you have the game tapes from last year to show you how to run a game presentation. All you have to do is hit repeat. This is not a complicated problem. I bring my kid's to games all the time and their only complaint is " why isn't the music like last year". We had arguably the best home court feel in the country LAST YEAR. Between the music and crowds last year the building felt like it was shaking. I'll never forget the Memphis, UCONN games. Please with all do respect just hit repeat.

When I'd tour track races in Europe the packed stadiums were full of fans that would chant, sing, cheer etc. like soccer/football/calcio matches. We'd race to a great atmosphere. Great memories........

7 nation army played about 4 times against Cincy last year....Not one single person complained. Why did we fix something that ain't broke.

The fact that the students started it mid game made it even better though.

I sat in 213 row 13 (thanks again 35straight!) for the game, which is above the second rail, and can tell you the music was 100% not too loud. I sat next to a group of six 10 year olds who were into it and cheering just as loud as me by the end of the game, even though the rest of the section was severely lacking. That lady wasn't complaining for her kids ears, she was proably comolaining because she couldn't catch up on American Idol with all the noise.

Moody can get very loud when fans cheer loud. I guess if that hurts the ears then should we stop cheering as loudly?
