The only thing Nichols has on Kennedy is playing a bunch more minutes and a better outside shooter. Even there Nichols didn't even hit 50% of his shots. Kennedy outrebounded him playing 7 minutes less a game. Kennedy is even a better Free Throw Shooter. Kennedy is easily better if you project to a 30 minute game especially since kennedy didn't play the easier nonconference schedule. If they had a draft for next year SMU would undoubtedly pick Kennedy over Nichols because we need his physical presence. Kennedy will be a 16 to 18 point scorer and get about 9-10 rebounds next year

Some good recruiting classes in the AAC.

If we return Nic & MK return and there are no crazy surprises (mudiay, frazier, ncaa)
We are either #1 or #2. The incoming guards who can actually handle the ball along with Tolbert make it a no brainer.
As good as we were this year we were playing with one legitimate shooter and ball handler.
Next year if everything goes as planned we will have true depth and five legitimate scorers on the court at all times.
I know everyone loves Manuel but this was just simply not the case this year.

The 2015 Continental Tire Las Vegas

Both tournaments will be held in the Orleans Arena.

Nichols is longer than MK and he will block a fair share of MK's (and other's) shots but I take MK over him everyday of the week and twice on Sunday.

Pretty much Everyone in AAC will be better next year. Temple had a good class. Tulsa returns pretty much everybody, Cincy is Cincy. UConn will be more experienced (Hamilton and Purvis and they will still have the blocking machine), and Memphis and Houston will be, well, maybe not everyone will be better. :-)

We will still be the team to beat and I'll be looking for a repeat personally.

Awesome. Looks like that'll be when I make my annual year end Vegas trip. 8)

Nichols is the better prospect, no question about it. He's a FAR better defender and that's half the game, folks. Love me some Markus and wouldn't necessarily trade him considering what SMU likes to do offensively, but he's not the better player
