There are so many student-athletes who go on to have great none sport careers (and yes plenty that do not) and they add to the diversity of every campus. Just think if there were no student athletes on campus....how boring and lilly white would most of them be. #Jealous
is this sarcasm? This whole thread has been about the penalty, hating the ncaa, and ponyfans vs paysite.
Also I have found engineers on the whole typically as pro athlete as the general student body. So few women.
Those few women are typically pro-athlete as well. In fact, Lyle students actually show a lot of support for athletics. The upcoming alumni event in Dallas will have the Chad as a special guest.
Smu declared Michael Frazier academically ineligible in an attempt to be secretive. In other news, President Obama has yet to declare his third term in hopes of secretly sneaking up on the GOP.
So, the NCAA makes up a new rule and will again make SMU, the posterchild. Same theme, different tune. Make an example out of SMU, and then let the Alabamas, UT's and Miami's of the world do their thing. Oh, and don't let North Dakota call themselves the Fighting Sioux.
We should have sued them in the 80s like Tarkanian. Put an end to their hypocrisy and show them for what they are. The NCAA that is. Worst run sports organization I have ever witnessed with the possible exception of Major League Baseball during the Mark McGwire fiasco.
