But what about all the distinguished Memphis alumni? There have to be some examples, right?

Didn't most of those guys attend Memphis State University?

He may want to be a coach which a degree from Memphis would be fine but if he wants to major in business he made a pretty significant mistake.

It's a bummer if he goes. There is a reason why CM was on him really hard.
We also know that we take commitment seriously. If he is taking other visits without repercussion from Chad, there could be some stuff going on that we don't know about. He is about to go into a situation with more QBs in front of him and a worse WR corps to throw to (not a bag on Memphis, just our young kids are really, really good). None of that makes a lot of sense, so I suspect there might be something else going on like he wants to play closer to home for some reason or another.

He found out that we stopped our EWU QB transfer pipeline.

His senior year performance was underwhelming at best and he's a total headcase. I'd say it will be fun beating the snot out of him in a few years, but I doubt he ever sees the field at Memphis. They got a good Juco QB commit and will recruit over Moore next year.
There's a lot of truth here ECM. The coaches aren't crying about this one.

Let's not forget we signed a pretty good quarterback last year.
One that florida and Michigan wanted

Is this Ponyfans or Tigherfans? It looks to me like one Memphis guy has taken over Ponyfans. If we get Moore great. If we don't it makes room for a outstanding LB (set to announce Sunday...interesting) or someone else probably in the wings just in case. I have seen enough from Morris and staff to have TOTAL faith in their abilities and judgement in the recruiting battles. We have other qbs and we are recruiting an "athlete" who is a pretty good qb in his own right. Moreover, there will be more opportunities before the start of football season. Lets just get the 'aces' we have lined up to join the SMU family and enjoy the harvest. PONY UP gentlemen.
