Correct!

SMU's nucleus in the Freshman and sophomore classes are turning this thing around. Until 2017 we are going to have to listen to their crap. They won't be around after that. I predicted 4 wins with Davis at QB and Xavier at RB and 3 starting offensive line starters who have been hurt-most SMU fans picked between 3-5 wins so I don't know where the big disappointment or surprise is coming from. If you told me before the season that 40% of SMU offensive starters would be hurt by Game 4 then most would have predicted no more than 3 wins. SMU's defense is making some major strides in comparison to last year with 15 true and redshirt freshman. That nucleus will transform the defense when they are 3-4 year lettermen. Seen these cards play out many times-fully confident

Yeah, it's called depth. We don't have much because June wasted 2+ recruiting classes with marginal talent

You know what else would be funny? If you posted some of your son's highlight videos

Hicks is a different QB and doesn't bring those same skill sets to the offense. Kicks is more a pocket passer that needs protection.
The O line's injuries have multiplied the pressure on Hicks as he doesn't have the protection he needs and his skill set isn't that to scramble. So the O really suffers from so many injuries.
The D has looked much better and really doing better with pass coverage and interceptions as compared to years past.
What was troublesome in the Temple game was the D didn't look engaged and ready to ply physically and the O struggled and never found a rhythm.
Some of that is coaching but some of that is the players not overcoming adversity. That takes character and that has to be developed.

Right on cue, Stallion lashes out, makes up stories, and avoids the entire subject of the thread. 4 people have the audacity to question Morris for complaining in public about his apparent inability to motivate his own team, and Stallion goes into full whiner mode. You want to change the subject to injuries, feel free. That has nothing to do with the coach showing weakness in the face of adversity. Some folks on the board recognize it, and call it out. You just ignore it, which is your right. But don't change the subject and act like a baby. Sure, you'll have lot's of people support whatever you say, but not everybody, get used to it.
This is also the second time you've used your faux 'vendetta' line. Have one of your lap dogs, either Pony Girl or ECM, go back and look at all of my positive comments about Morris, they're everywhere. This is my first real criticism of Morris, and it's a legitimate one. I did comment that I believed Malone was in over his head, and still believe that, we'll see how it plays out over the next couple years.
So back to the subject. Since the majority of the guys on the roster are Morris guys, why is he admitting a motivation problem? And isn't it probably a bad idea to do it out in public?
Let the excuses roll.
Again, tonight is the night we see how much progress has been made. 2 programs starting from very similar circumstances, 2 coaches hired at the same time. Let's start by putting motivated guys on the field. Execution by a QB who has had plenty of experience in the offense would be nice as well. You like him, the 'poor freshman Hicks' excuse doesn't fly.
